Essentials for everyday support
I have been a big fan of FRANKIE4 for years now because I have wide feet and a high arch, these traits mean many shoes not only fit incorrectly but end up being painful after a few hours of wearing them. A standard weekend looks a little like this for me; I finish work always at 6pm on a Friday and as a family we normally have a relaxed pizza night celebrating the end of a busy week. I work from home but tend to have client meetings on the road in the morning and then work on campaigns of an afternoon.
The Shauna boot is perfect because the style of this ankle boot pairs beautifully with my classic jeans and shirt work wardrobe. The stacked heel gives me some height and the Sole HeroTM Footbed feels like walking on clouds which is so important because I put them on at 7:30am and I need comfort all day.

Saturday mornings I like to sneak in a workout before we take the kids to swimming lessons and normally from there our plans revolve around kids parties or playdates. Since activewear is my Saturday morning uniform, having a fun pair of comfortable sneakers to style back with my workout gear is key.

And that’s what’s happened with the sneaker trend. Today’s sneaker outfits embrace a contrast of casual and dressed up; Contrast the casual look of sneakers, jeans and a tee with the structure of a blazer. Bring a comfortable, yet fun element to a dress outfit by swapping sandals for sneakers. The ultimate in casual/dressy sneaker looks comes when you work back an elevated fabric, for example a satin midi skirt, back with a sneaker and blazer. It’s the juxtaposition of casual and elevated in one outfit that brings a sneaker outfit into the 2020s.

Dinner dates with Heidi
If hubby and I are lucky enough to score a babysitter for the night, Saturday evenings might look like a nice dinner and wind down. We both work hard and appreciate the chance to sit down to a meal without an interruption. Heading out to dinner means I like to wear a heel, but I’ll admit since becoming a mum I’m not likely to wear a heel unless I feel really supported.
The Heidi heel in black is the heel you could wear all day long. It’s a 80mm heel with the comfiest cushioning, and supports my wider foot so well. The additions of the straps both across the foot and around the ankle mean with each step you are completely supported. Considering we are headed into winter the closed toe works beautifully to wear with a dress, and of course if you’re in Melbourne style with a warm winter coat over the top.
Market strolls with Elena
Sunday mornings we like to enjoy heading to the market all together. The kids have their favourite market stalls at Queen Victoria Market and so do I. We always head there with empty tummies and lots of ideas of things we might cook later that day.
Since we have three kids in tow I need comfort and style and the Elena does that perfectly. This style is like so many FRANKIE4 sneakers I love with its rounded toe shape and lower side profile. If I am looking for a sneaker that can pair with something bright and fun, the detailing of the gold against the white is perfect. Another handy trick with the Elena is the elastic inside that means they can be worn without laces.
