Health Professional - Tania Wells
We’re huge fans of nurses! What was it that made you want to be a nurse?
I'm really a people person and always loved tending to my pets and family's injuries when growing up. I've been nursing for 30 years now.
What is your favourite part of being a nurse?
When I've done something very simple for someone, but it's made a huge difference to them.
What do you look for when searching for nursing shoes?
Comfort, shape, grip and of course style. I've had a serious injury to by ankle/foot that has left me with almost "foot drop", where it is weaker than the other. If I'm not wearing the right shoes my ankle aches and swells. I really do need a lace up leather shoe that is enclosed.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit nurses?
Great range to choose from for all shapes of feet, especially with the fitting system.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I've worn my JENNi style FRANKiE4 shoes since the first day they arrived. Initially they were too tight a fit and I thought maybe I should go up a half size, but this resolved after 2 days of wear. I'm a full-time radiation oncology nurse in a very busy cancer centre and my feet are very grateful to these shoes.
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Comfort, Style, Choice
