Health Professional - Rachel Ollington
We’re huge fans of physiotherapists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a physiotherapist?
I’ve always had an interest in health & wellbeing – it was just a case of finding the career with the right fit for me. I love helping people and am constantly amazed at the intricacies of the human body, how it works and moves (or sometimes doesn’t!)
What is your favourite part of being a physiotherapist?
Educating people on their condition and how to ‘get better’ and then how to maintain and/or improve their current situation, through exercise and diet – improving their lifestyle, especially when they have goals they want to achieve!
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Flat feet (pronation), shin splints, plantar fasciitis. Poor circulation & bunions due to ill-fitting cheap shoes
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
These shoes are both functional, comfortable and very good looking! A combination which in the past has been impossible to find. Many women put up with sore feet and foot issues so they can continue to wear pretty shoes but FRANKiE4 eliminates this conundrum! I love how you can customise the shoe to fit the foot width.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I LOVE my FRANKiE4’s – I feel like I’m wearing my runners but they look much prettier – I can wear them with almost anything! I have naturally flat feet and presently am 25 weeks pregnant. My feet and legs are definitely less tired and achey when I wear these shoes. Throughout all my pregnancies (2 others) I’ve suffered with SIJ pain but these are certainly helping from the feet up to assist my muscles & joints with my changing biomechanics.
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Supportive, Functional, Stylish!
