We’re huge fans of Physiotherapist, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a physiotherapist?
As a child and teenager I trained in dance for many hours each week which took its toll on my body. I was able to form a great relationship with a local physiotherapist Mr Peter Howley who helped me manage all of my aches and pains and it made me realise that I could do the same for others. I thought one day, "hey you know what....I could do that" and I did!
What is your favourite part of being a physiotherapist?
I love being able to work with my patients and educate them not only on how I can help them but how they can help themselves. I am a huge advocate for patients taking an active role in their rehabilitation and a proactive attitude towards injury prevention.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
I would have to say plantar fasciitis is a very common foot problem that I see along with acute lateral ankle sprains.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
I really like how the support provided by the footbed is soft not rigid, this makes it so much more comfortable than a traditional insert or orthotic. The fact that there are interchangeable footbeds really highlights the ability to get a custom fit that is right for each individual.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I love that I can get to the end of a busy day on my feet and not be dying to take my shoes off! They are supportive yet stylish and so very comfortable. It's such a delight to find a pair of great work shoes that don't look like I borrowed them from my grandma!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Stylish, everyday, comfort.
