Health Professional - Mary Griffin
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I had always wanted to be a podiatrist, I had 'fixed' my parents' hardworking feet for many years. Somehow I found my way into nursing which was a fantastic career too, but in my mid 30's with 3 young children I had a chance to study Podiatry. I haven't looked back. I meet great people, listen to amazing stories and even manage to treat feet too.
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
I meet interesting people every day, rarely inflict pain and in a short time make people feel great.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Usually corns and callus caused by rubbing over boney prominences but also nail changes and discomfort.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
They are lightweight, but hold their shape. The foot bed is super comfortable and they look fantastic.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
Mine are really comfortable and are ideal for work as well as casual wear. The foot bed provides beautiful cushioning, but doesn't bulk up the shoe excessively.
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
It's the “Go to Shoe”.
