Health Professional - Marie Campbell
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I love helping people, so getting paid for it is a bonus! Being a podiatrist enables me to help many people across a whole range of foot and lower limb issues, from babies to the elderly. At Active Foot Clinic, our scope of practice is huge…the biggest and best I’ve ever worked in. And I’ve experienced a few practices across both the public and private sectors these past ten years!
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
Helping to improve somebody’s quality of life, whether that be by relieving pain and enabling them to carry out their daily activities and exercise goals, or by rehabilitating an injury to allow them to return to their sport in peak condition!
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Plantar fasciitis (a form of heel pain), corns and callus.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
FRANKiE4 combines fashion with comfort in a supportive shoe (so in short, all of them!). All three features are hard to find but with the Frankie4 brand you know it will tick all three boxes. This gives my patients peace of mind and an easy brand to recommend as a clinician.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I love the FRANKiE4 footbed…I feel like I’m bouncing along when walking! For this reason, I often default to the ELLiE and JENNi to work through my weekend checklist, before swapping them for my netball shoes. The JENNi has some upgraded features from the ELLiE, such as a thicker, bouncier footbed and a stronger sole. I feel like I could run in these shoes! The podiatrist in me thinks better of it as shoes should be used for their intended purpose, however, they are convenient for a short dash here and there!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Comfort. Support. Fashion.
