Health Professional - Kate Hillier
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I always knew I wanted to work in the health industry and after quite a lot of research into different health career pathways my interest landed in Podiatry.
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
It is most definitely the ability to help people. Whether this is helping people get back on their feet after an injury or accident or working with patients to remain on their feet so they can continue to be active, continue to work, continue to chase after their kids all day or whatever it may be!
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Heel pain and forefoot pathologies particularly bunions and fixed toe deformities.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
The firm heel counter, firm shank and spacious width and depth in the forefoot tick a lot of boxes in regards to footwear features that benefit most female patients. However I particularly love the removable innersoles that allow an orthotic to slide straight in for that additional support that so many feet require.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I love wearing my Frankie4 shoes, finally there are stylish shoes I can wear my orthotics in that allows my feet to be comfortable all day long!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Quality, comfort & style!
