Health Professional - Jessica Lucas
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I always wanted a career that enabled me to help people – so a profession in health care was a perfect fit! I had seen a podiatrist as a teenager and was really impressed how quickly they alleviated my pain, which led me to think - hey, I could do this when I grow up!
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
Meeting and chatting to such a variety of patients - it definitely makes the day interesting! It’s also an incredibly rewarding profession – having your patients arrive to you in pain, and leave you pain-free, it’s very satisfying.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Callus, corns, bunions and ingrown toenails.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
The ability to change the fit (to suit either narrow or wide feet) with the removable insoles – it’s a great idea!
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I am in love with my ELLiE’s! I have a wide foot and wear orthotics which in the past has made it difficult finding anything comfortable and supportive (let alone looking good!) – but my ELLiE’s fit like a dream and they look so funky!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Comfort. Style. Australian.
