Health Professional - Jasmine Kouch
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I actually wanted to be a dentist when I was studying in high school, but then I met a Podiatrist who loves his job and when he asked me with a chuckle, “Jasmine, why do you want to be a dentist when you love talking to people? You can’t do that with your hands in their mouth!” I was sold.
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
I love being able to help people in so many different ways. Being a Podiatrist has empowered me to encourage people to be more active, find happiness despite discomfort and the ability to not only be a practitioner, but also a friend.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Bunions, corns, ingrown nails, fungal nails and heel pain.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
The ability to adjust the stylish shoes depending on the width of the foot and the added arch support. I find that way too many women try to squish their feet into tiny little shoes which causes them detriment in the long-run.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I have been wearing my Frankie4’s for work and professional functions. My feet generally have a wider toebox and so I was concerned that it would not fit into the shoes but I was very pleasantly surprised! They have been great for wearing all day.
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Comfortable, stylish, practical
