Health Professional - Emma Rogers
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I was always playing sport as a kid, and ended up with my first pair of orthotics at 15 to treat my chronic shin pain. My orthotics worked wonders and I was back playing sport pain free. I never really thought about it as a profession till it was time to put my preferences down for Uni and I have loved it ever since!
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
I feel like being active is such a crucial part of leading a happy and healthy life at any age. Sore feet can have such a negative impact on your mental health as well as your physical health. I love being able to help people achieve their goals in life whether it is being able to get back in the garden or running a marathon.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
I see a lot of plantar fasciitis as a result of poor footwear combined with poor biomechanics. I find a lot of female patients struggle to combine a fashionable shoe with one that is supportive and functional.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
The customisable foot beds are a wonderful feature. It gives a variety of fits all in the same shoe as well as allowing flexibility with orthotic fitting.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I LOVE THEM. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I will definitely be ordering myself another pair!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Stylish, Comfortable, Functional
