Health Professional - Elysia Andrews
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
When I was younger I always wanted to do something in health but I wasn't sure in exactly what area. Until I had some troubles with my feet when my parents took me to see a podiatrist who really helped me and from then on I knew that's what I wanted to do!
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
Helping people, seeing people come in with pain and leave without or with less.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Plantar heel pain along with corns/callus and joint deformities.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
The shoes have a great variety of styles which can also accommodate functional foot orthotics which we might prescribe to help alliviate foot pain. They also look great which our female clients really appreciate the fact they can wear sensible but fashionable shoes.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I love my FRANKiE4's! For a long time I have searched for a pair of smart casual shoes that look good but can accommodate my orthotics and frankie does just that. The photo I have included is of me and my Frankies on our latest holiday to Hawaii! They enabled me to do so much walking on my holiday whilst secretly wearing my orthotics and kept my feet feeling great!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
