Health Professional - Denikka Greaves
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I’ve always had an interest in health, and had always dreamt of working within the health industry. I worked within a community health centre after I finished high school and soon realised the importance of ‘feet’ and that they were the main thing that quiet literally carried us through life no matter what age!
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
Working with people, and being able to have an instant effect on their lives. I love seeing people walk away after a consult feeling pain free and revived again.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Corns and callus are definitely the most common pathologies seen on a day to day basis. I see a lot of women concerned about bunions (the progression of the bunions, discomfort levels as well as appearance)
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
Footwear is a huge factor that every woman should reconsider. I see too often women in ill- fitting, worn out footwear. Footwear really is such a simple method of resolving half of the foot pathologies seen, but is quite often a factor over looked by patients.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I LOVE FRANKiE4 footwear, they’re so comfortable, fashionable (which is of course important to women) and easy to wear!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
FUN, FASHIONABLE and (a perfect) FIT
