Health Professional - Charmaine Brayshaw
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I’ve always known that I would pursue a career in health care and being an active person, podiatry grabbed my interest immediately. My scope of practice is varied each day and I enjoy being able to help patients of any age, from those just learning to walk to those trying to maintain mobility in their later years of life.
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
Being able to help patients get moving and keeping active. Painful feet make people unhappy. It’s a nice feeling to help people get back to enjoying life on their feet without the pain and with a smile on their face.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Forefoot problems! Corns, calluses, bunions and neural pain…all of them exacerbated by less than ideal footwear choices.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
The custom fit system. It allows women with different shoe fitting requirements to wear fashionable, comfortable shoes. Having the choice of different insoles to explore what depth and width works best for each individual means less of a headache for myself and my patients.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
LOVE THEM. I now have a black pair of JENNis for work and a gold pair to get me through my weekends ☺
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Stylish, comfortable, functional.
