Health Professional - Anna Horn
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
I get asked this question at least once a week “why feet?” and I’m still yet to perfect my answer but here goes… I knew I wanted to work in the health industry to help people somehow improve their health and encourage a more active lifestyle. I went to an open day at a university and the podiatrists were making customised orthotics in the lab and treating patients in the onsite clinic and I thought the course looked diverse, fun and hands on. So I signed up for podiatry and my initial thoughts on podiatry weren’t wrong – diverse, fun and hands on and I get to help people live more active, pain free lives. I haven’t looked back!
What is your favourite part of being a podiatrist?
I like being a podiatrist as I can treat patients with a variety of lower limb issues and pathologies and I am able to provide them with a treatment or intervention that gives them instant relief, improves their quality of life and enables them to achieve their long-term health goals.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
The most common foot problems I treat for female patients are bunions, corns and toe deformities.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
I think that all my female patients could benefit from FRANKiE4 shoes, I especially love the shoes that provide you with a fully covered, leather shoe that is stylish, lightweight and has a super cushioned foot bed for all day comfort. The fact they are orthotic friendly is a bonus of course.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
I simply love them. I wear them casually and at work, they can easily be worn all day and I’m not dying to take them off when I get home. They are stylish too.
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Style, Comfort and COMFORT!!!!!
