Health Professional - Amy McClelland
We’re huge fans of podiatrists, our designer is one! What was it that made you want to be a podiatrist?
After spending a lot of time as a teenager with ankle and back problems; I sought after a solution to help improve the biomechanics and function of other people's lower limb problems. I always wanted a job that would be helpful to others and with podiatry I get to help people improve their everyday lives.
What is your favourite part of being a podiatris?
Helping people! Podiatry is very rewarding; people often come in with pain and walk out pain free. If they don’t, generally after a few consultations their pain is improving. It’s great to have people who look forward to coming to see you for your services.
What are the most common foot problems you see in your female patients?
Corns and callouses. Often caused from inappropriate footwear.
What features of FRANKiE4 do you think could benefit your female patients?
FRANKiE4 meets the stylish profile most of my patients are looking for whilst still providing the important structures in a shoe that I look for as a Podiatrist. This is often a difficult meeting point for myself and my patients. It’s fantastic to be able to tell my patients to look at the FRANKiE4 range and find we are both happy.
How did you like your FRANKiE4s?
My FRANKiE4 shoes are very comfortable; I feel stylish and I want to tell people about them. There is adequate depth and width in the toe box and most importantly… The removeable innersole means I can fit my orthotics!! WIN WIN WIN!!
In three words describe what FRANKiE4 means to you?
Comfort, Style, Happiness!!
